By the Numbers: UFC Vegas 107

And then there were nine.

An already short-handed UFC Vegas 107 card lost its featured attraction just minutes before walkouts when Maycee Barber suffered an emergency medical issue that rendered her unable to face Erin Blanchfield in the evening’s flyweight main event. Barber, who missed weight, is unable to extend her six-fight Ultimate Fighting Championship winning streak and faces serious questions about her future going foward. Meanwhile, Blanchfield is left looking for another fight to elevate her to the flyweight title shot she so desires. Thanks to a rash of weight-cut issues and cancellations, the latest UFC Fight Night offering ended with just nine bouts overall.

Here is a by-the-numbers look at UFC Vegas 107, with statistics courtesy of UFCStats.com.

2: Consecutive withdrawals for Barber, who also pulled out of a proposed matchup against Rose Namajunas last July due to ongoing health issues. Barber last competed at UFC 299 in March 2024, when she took a unanimous decision over Katlyn Cerminara.

49: Career takedowns for Mateusz Gamrot, No. 4 in UFC lightweight history. “Gamer” landed six of 11 attempts against Ludovit Klein to move ahead of Nik Lentz and Rafael dos Anjos on the all-time list. More importantly, Gamrot defeated Klein via unanimous decision.

41: Significant strikes by which Gamrot outlanded Klein. The former KSW champ also held a 142-to-85 edge in total strikes landed.

11: First-round finishes for Ramiz Brahimaj in his professional career. He added Billy Goff to that list on Saturday, as he rendered his foe unconscious with a guillotine choke at the 3:16 mark of Round 1. Ten of those victories have came via submission.

6: KO/TKO victories for Dustin Jacoby, tying him for the fourth most in modern UFC light heavyweight history. The former Glory Kickboxing competitor put Bruno Lopes away with a barrage of punches in the opening stanza of their featured contest.

106: Total strikes landed by Ketlen Vieira in a three-round verdict over Macy Chiasson in their featherweight clash. Chiasson landed 52 total strikes in defeat. Vieira logged 10:04 of control time in victory despite not landing a single takedown.

13:20: Combined control time for Allan Nascimento (7:03) and Jafel Filho (6:20) in their preliminary flyweight affair. While Filho landed four takedowns to his opponent’s one, Nascimento ultimately emerged with a hard-fought unanimous decision triumph.

4: Occasions in which Jordan Leavitt has landed single-digit significant strikes in the Octagon. “The Monkey King” is 3-1 in those bouts, including a first-round anaconda choke submission of Kurt Holobaugh on Saturday night.

36: Significant body strikes landed by Bolaji Oki in a three-round verdict over Michael Aswell at lightweight. By comparison, Aswell landed 19. That was the biggest advantage for Oki in a contest where he outlaned his foe by a total count of 136 to 118 in significant strikes.

154: Significant strikes landed by Alice Ardelean in a unanimous decision win over Rayanne dos Santos. That’s the ninth most ever in a single UFC strawweight fight. By comparison, dos Santos landed 78 significant strikes in defeat.

83: Significant strikes landed by Ardelean in Round 3, more than dos Santos’ entire fight total and the most ever for a UFC strawweight bout in a single frame. Joanna Jedrzejczyk previously held the record with 69 landed in the fourth round of her victory over Claudia Gadelha at the “TUF 23” finale in July 2016.
